Corporate-Tribes is starting the first Luxembourgish Agile Network & Community for ‘C-level’ professionals. On the 23rd of november we start with a Key-Note of Arie van Bennekum followed by a workshop of the Cases of ING NL.. This Event is for CIO's en senior IT professionals. After the workshop we will do an assesment of the challanges the attendees are facing today. We will use this information to set themes, for Round Tables we are going to organize in Luxembourg.

Workshop Scaling Agile @ ING The Netherlands

In the Workshop you learn about ING Bank The Netherlands (ING) faced an increasingly dynamic market under attack of fintech startups and the threat of giants like Google, Apple and other data-driven organizations. To the ING leadership team it was clear that staying ahead of the (new) competition in the rapidly changing world of banking and an unpredictable future, requires more than just working harder. That was the spark for ING to radically change its way of working, and the start of ING’s transformation towards becoming a fully-fledged Agile organization.

In recent years, the way people do banking has transformed completely towards real-time online services. Moreover, customer expectations have increased due to the shaping influence of large and small Tech companies. In search of answers to these challenges ING decided to put itself in a rapid learning modus: by carefully observing and analyzing the way of working of Tech companies, and starting experiments following a learning by doing approach.

Key-Note Arie van Bennekum, co-writer Agile Manifesto

Arie made his change in 1994. Coming from a very traditional environment as developer and technical designer he switched to RAD and later DSDM. He got involved in communities started publishing, training and coaching. Later Arie got on the board of the DSDM Consortium Benelux and represented DSDM when the Agile Manifesto was written in February 2001.

Arie shares his experiences why a paradigm shift is necessary to really be and work Agile.

Workshop Scaling Agile @ ING The Netherlands

Harry Oosterhuis, Lead Corebank ING NL will share his experiences of the Agile transformation within ING NL over the past years.

Andre Leeuwendal will inform you about the start of Corporate-Tribes in The Netherlands in 2016. The Workshops, Round Tables and the annual year Event 'Spark the Change. Andre will also introduce the Agile Network & Community in Luxemburg
